OSHA Outreach Training was originally developed in 1971 as a way to make workers more knowledgeable about the hazards that exist in their workplace along with their rights as an employee. It wasn't until the early 2000's when Outreach training started moving to online vs. being taught in the classroom. From 2012-2016, over 3.4 million workers in the United States have completed an OSHA Outreach class via classroom and online.
